On July 19, 2009 fourteen scouts and four adults went to Camp Ottari in Hiwassee, Virginia. For the week we stayed, the weather was fair with slight rain a couple of days. We had three scouts complete the Brown Sea Island program, and eleven scouts worked on merit badges of their choice for a total of forty seven completed or partially finished merit badges. Our troop also won an award for cleanest campsite. Great work everyone!

Everyone had a really good time and is looking forward to go to camp next year (although it is in debate whether or not we will go to Ottari). Thanks to everyone that helped set up camp and supported us.
